I have been holding on to that one for about 5 days. :) Can anyone tell me how Rua was a better match for Jones than say Bader, Hamill, or any other person on Earth? Give him Anderson Silva. The only two guys who can beat each other. Seriously. Except me...I can beat Anderson Silva. Sadly, I won't get the shot.

I originally voted for Isaac but I have now changed my mind and think Shogun will win. For someone who lives in Vegas, Isaac, you of all people should know a betting favorite isn't always about who will win but where the money goes. Jones is an exciting fighting so more people will bet on him out of emotion not because he's the better fighter. And before Brad thinks he swayed my mind, he didn't, although I ended up coming up with a similar opinion. Fortunately, I don't have an expert opinion, I'm just some white guy who likes watching fights...

Isaac makes a fair point, it *is* easy to make the underdog pick and then come off all smug *if* your boys comes through (and if he doesn't, well, he was the underdog). Buuuut, that's not what I'm doing here. It's not a gut feeling and I have given my reasons as to why I'm picking the tried and tested veteran over the guy who has potential.

Can Jones beat Shogun? Sure. Is there a better chance of Shogun beating Jones? In my mind, yes. What it all boils down to for me though is that this is going to be an incredibly interesting and hopefully entertaining fight, regardless of who wins and how. I can't wait.

Oh and Isaac, if Shogun wins, I want an apology dance/song! :-p

First off, yeah, I said LEG when it was arm. That is true, and I remembered it after I finished posting it, but I also know that Shogun has had multiple knee problems, and that is probably why I said it. Secondly, if I'm SO wrong in this argument, then why is Jones the favorite in the fight? Like I said, I could care less about the pointless banter leading up to this fight. I am sure that Jones will win the fight. If he doesn't, I could honestly care less. I know that Brad just wanted to seem smart if the underdog prevails. It's easy to take an underdog and say, "I think he's gonna win, because I feel it in my gut." Because when they lose, you can say, "Yeah, but it was a long shot."

I wish that it was Shogun fighting Rashad, because then I would BELIEVE Shogun can win. There's nothing that leads me to believe that he will win this fight though. Good luck to them both.
